New York—The Interactive Advertising Bureau announced that member companies are on track to implement ad measurement guidelines by the end of the year. The Global Internet Ad Impression Measurement Guidelines, which were published in November, provide a standard method of measuring interactive advertising. The guidelines include a definition for counting online ad impressions and call for third-party auditing and certification of advertising. IAB member companies that are now in complete compliance with the measurement guidelines include CNET Networks, Yahoo!, Univision and Weather.com.
