IAB establishes standard half-page ad spec

New York--The Interactive Advertising Bureau's Ad Sizes Task Force Tuesday announced it has established a standard specification for a half-page ad unit.

The standard--300 x 600 pixels--will enable advertisers and agencies to develop ads that will be accepted by all publishers that accept a half-page unit, the IAB said.

Member companies that currently carry the half-page unit or intend to offer it soon include CNET Networks, Forbes.com, Marketwatch.com, New York Times Digital and Yahoo!
