IAB estimates Internet ad revenue at $21.1 billion for 2007

New York—Internet advertising revenue for 2007 totaled an estimated $21.1 billion, up 25.0% from 2006, according to a preliminary report from the Interactive Advertising Bureau and PricewaterhouseCoopers.

In the fourth quarter, Internet ad revenue totaled about $5.9 billion, up 24.0% over the same period in 2006, according to the report.

All four quarters in 2007 saw record revenue, the IAB said.

“Interactive media continue their unabated growth,” said Randall Rothenberg, president-CEO of the IAB.

Actual revenue for 2007 will be reported by the IAB and PricewaterhouseCoopers in May.
