New York—The Interactive Advertising Bureau announced the creation of the IAB Ad Operations Council, which will help the online ad industry identify and resolve issues around online ad management and operations.
The council will be led by Co-chairpersons Dan Murphy, VP-online research and ad traffic at Univision Online, and Adrian D’Souza, director-ad development and support at CNET Networks.
The council will include senior advertising operations executives drawn from the IAB’s general membership. Members include executives from CBS Digital Media, Dow Jones Online, Microsoft Digital Advertising Solutions and The New York Times.
The council will address issues including new technologies, system integration, electronic data interchange, reporting tools, staffing and training.
