IAB: Online ad revenue up 23% in fourth quarter

New York—Online ad revenue for the fourth quarter reached an estimated $2.7 billion, up 23% over online ad revenue of $2.2 billion in the fourth quarter of 2003, according to the Internet Ad Revenue Report, conducted by PricewaterhouseCoopers for the Interactive Advertising Bureau.

Estimated online ad revenue for 2004 is $9.6 billion, up 32% over 2003, the report found. Final figures for the year will be reported in the full Internet Ad Revenue Report later this spring.
