IAB opens public comment period for mobile ad units

New York—The Interactive Advertising Bureau has opened a public comment period for its Mobile Rising Stars ad units. The new ad units, designed to standardize ad formats on mobile devices, include a mobile adhesion banner, a full-page flex ad, a mobile filmstrip, a mobile pull ad and a mobile slider ad. Full specifications and sample ads are available at www.iab.net/risingstarsmobile. The public comment period will close on Aug. 16. Following the public comment period, the IAB will evaluate comments, make revisions and release a final version of the ad units for industry adoption.
