IAB opens public comment period for mobile ad units

New York—The Interactive Advertising Bureau has opened a public comment period for its Mobile Rising Stars ad units. The new ad units, designed to standardize ad formats on mobile devices, include a mobile adhesion banner, a full-page flex ad, a mobile filmstrip, a mobile pull ad and a mobile slider ad. Full specifications and sample ads are available at The public comment period will close on Aug. 16. Following the public comment period, the IAB will evaluate comments, make revisions and release a final version of the ad units for industry adoption.
