IAB releases click measurement guidelines

New York—The Interactive Advertising Bureau has released click measurement guidelines to establish parameters for the accurate buying and selling of cost-per-click advertising.

The guidelines outline standard methodologies by which clicks should be measured and counted; establish standard terms for the buying and selling of click-based media; and increase the transparency and consistency in click measurement for media companies, ad serving companies and advertisers.
