IAB releases guidelines for ad verification

New York—The Interactive Advertising Bureau has released the final version of “Guidelines for the Conduct of Ad Verification.” The guidelines were developed in conjunction with the Media Rating Council and are designed to provide a common set of methods and practices for ad verification. Among the issues addressed are: ad blocking, nested i-frames and geo-targeting IP-based processes. The full guidelines are available here.
