New York—The Interactive Advertising Bureau released “HTML5 for Digital Advertising 1.0” for public comment. The guidelines are designed as a resource for digital advertising designers and creative executives who are developing online ads using HTML5. They address such issues as file and ad unit size; in-banner video advertising and animation; efficient ad creative packaging; and ad server compatibility. The comment period will end June 10.
