IAB reports Internet ad revenue down 5.4% in Q3

New York—Internet advertising revenue totaled $5.5 billion in the third quarter, down 5.4% from the same period last year, according to the Interactive Advertising Bureau and PricewaterhouseCoopers.

However, Internet ad revenue was up 1.7% over the second quarter, according to the report.

“While all segments of the media industry have experienced declines, online advertising remains resilient and is once again showing signs of growth,” said David Silverman, a partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers, which administers the IAB Internet Advertising Revenue Report.
