Dallas—The International Association for Exhibition Management announced Wednesday it has established the Asia Exhibition Forum, a forum designed to educate members of the exhibition and event industry about event opportunities available in the Asia/Pacific region. The forum can be found on IAEM's Web site atwww.iaem.org/asiaforum.
The IAEM’s Asia Exhibition Council, which includes member representatives from China, India, Korea, Singapore and Thailand, as well as Europe and the U.S., provides content for the forum. The site provides information on a country-by-country basis, including tax, customs and venue issues. In addition to detailed information on facilities that can host an exhibition in each country, the site will also explore comparisons of the procedures, laws and practices of exhibition organizing in each geographic area.
