IBM debuts on-demand publishing tools

Las Vegas--IBM Corp. unveiled new on-demand tools for the digital management of newspaper content at NEXPO 2003, a trade show for the publishing industry. IBM’s Newsroom Content Management service lets newspapers and other publishers convert content to digital format, manage the content and rapidly distribute it. It is now being used by a consortium of Japanese publishers, including Kyoto Shimbun, Kobe Shimbun and Chugoku Shimbun.
