IBM and Genesys team up for CRM service

Somers, N.Y.--IBM Corp. and Genesys Telecommunications Laboratories Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Alcatel A.L.A., announced a strategic alliance to deliver customer relationship management services. As part of the deal, IBM and Genesys will set up customer contact centers for vertical markets, initially focusing on telecommunications and financial services companies. These contact centers will provide CRM, sales force automation, directory assistance and other applications.
