New York—IBM Corp., Microsoft Corp. and Google are the top b-to-b marketers on Interbrand’s 2010 “Best Global Brands” study. The No. 1 global brand, keeping its top spot from last year’s ranking, is Coca-Cola.

IBM is once again No. 2; Microsoft held its spot at No. 3, and Google jumped from No. 7 last year to No. 4 this year.

Interbrand’s annual ranking of the top 100 global brands uses a propriety methodology to determine brand value, based on attributes including financial performance of the brand, the role of brand in the purchase decision process and how brand contributes to overall company earnings.

Rounding out the top-10 global brands are GE, McDonald’s, Intel, Nokia, Disney and HP. This year, HP broke into the top 10 from its position as No. 11 last year.
