Somers, N.Y.--IBM Corp. said Thursday that it is offering IBM Start Now Wireless to owners of midsize businesses interested in reaching sales representatives and other employees in the field via their wireless devices. IBM said it expects wireless corporate communications to reach $234 billion by 2003. The IBM Start Now brand includes software for creating wireless programming, as well as extensions that allow wireless interactions to be stored and measured against data collected from Web, in person and call center interactions. IBM is delivering the software and services through its own operation, as well as about 1,700 business partners worldwide.
