IBM revamps corporate Web site

IBM, Armonk, N.Y., on Wednesday unveiled a revamped corporate Web site featuring a new design and back-end boosts such as improved shopping functionality and better access to customer support services. The global effort encompasses more than 200,000 pages and reaches 72 countries in 16 languages. A major new addition is live customer service tools such as text-chat and ``call-me-now'' buttons, which let customers interact directly with sales, support and technical agents. Live support is now available from more than 500 pages at IBM.com.
