IBM serves up TV spots during U.S. Open

Armonk, N.Y.—IBM Corp. introduced two new TV commercials during the U.S. Open tennis tournament, which will run through Sept. 9 and is being telecast on CBS Sports and ESPN2. The spots are part of IBM's “Smarter Planet” campaign and were created by Ogilvy & Mather, New York. The ads target CMOs and the broader C-suite, and are designed to promote IBM's software solutions for analytics, data management and cloud computing. The budget was not disclosed.
