ICE sees surge in gas, power deals

Atlanta--Belying reports of sluggish advancement of Internet growth in b-to-b, Intercontinental Exchange said the volume of gas and power sold on its exchange soared in the second quarter. The commodity exchange - branded under the trade name ICE - said it traded more than $52 billion worth of natural gas for the quarter ended in June, and more than $14 billion worth of power. Transaction volume was up more than 192% from the first quarter, ICE said.
