Published on .

Scottsdale, Ariz.—Search company iCrossing announced Tuesday it has acquired Web development agency Proxicom. The deal combines iCrossing’s search marketing services and technologies with Proxicom’s Web and application development services to create a global digital marketing company.

Proxicom will retain its name and be led by Blue Van Dyke, COO at Proxicom.

The news follows last week’s announcement that Goldman Sachs and Oak Investment Partners led a $62 million investment in iCrossing.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
