IDC releases guidelines for sales and marketing cost controls

Framingham, Mass.—IDC released an annual report that provides guidelines for managing sales and marketing costs.

“IDC’s Sales, Marketing and Market Intelligence Taxonomy” is a reference guide for resource planning, budgeting and cost controls. It contains new definitions and cost categorizations for market intelligence, digital marketing, product marketing and other areas, as well as annual benchmarking results.
