U.S. Internet ad spending totaled $6.4 billion for the third quarter, down 4% from the year-earlier period, IDC reported. However, the rate of decline in worldwide online ad spending is slowing. Spending declined 5.6% in the second quarter, IDC found.
The results are included in IDC’s “Worldwide and U.S. Ad Spend Report 3Q09,” which was released this week.
