IDG adds magazine in China

Published on .

Boston--International Data Group announced Wednesday the launch of Electronic Design & Application World magazine in partnership with the Institute of Scientific & Technical Information China, a division of China's Ministry of Science & Technology.

The new monthly magazine debuts with a controlled circulation of 30,000 electronics design and applications engineers in China.

Most of the articles in the new publication will be written by Chinese nationals on staff. Additional content, translated into Chinese, will be supplied under license from four electronics magazines published by PennWell Publishing Co., Tulsa, Okla.

The new publication plans to apply for a BPA circulation audit in 2003.
