Boston--International Data Group announced that its IDG List Services has joined with American List Counsel to create multichannel marketing opportunities for b-to-b and technology marketers.

The list management companies are offering an integrated media approach with their IDG Corporate Postal and E-Mail Databases. The databases are derived from subscribers to publications such as CIO, Computerworld, InfoWorld, Network World, PC World and ITworld.com, and attendees of such events as LinuxWorld Conference & Expo and Macworld Conference & Expo.

"Due to quick lead generation, media reinforcement and increased cost effectiveness, e-mailing has become the ideal interactive response medium," said Deb Goldstein, president of IDG List Services. "Combining e-mail with direct mail, print and online advertising campaigns provides marketers the most reach.”

The databases include more than 3 million buyers on the postal side and more than 1 million permission-based e-mail names. The cost of IDG's new Corporate E-Mail Database is $275 per thousand names and the IDG Corporate Postal Database is $140 per thousand names.
