IDG, CNN form joint volume Web advertising program

Published on .

Boston--International Data Group's online network and CNN's Web sites announced a new joint volume Web advertising program, which offers "aggressive" pricing for high-volume, predefined advertising packages. These advertising buys will reach both IDG's and CNN's online audiences. IDG and CNN are presenting the program as targeted at major technology product launches and large-scale branding efforts. The advertising packages available include: "News Junkies," which combines IDG.net's news pages and CNN.com and CNNfn.com; "Web Economy," which combines CNN and IDG Internet-oriented products such as TheStandard.net; and "Managers Online," which reaches professionals online through CNNfn.com and PCWorld Online.
