IDG Enterprise launches custom content unit

Framingham, Mass.—IDG Enterprise, which publishes CIO, Computerworld and other tech brands, this week will announce the launch of its Strategic Content Services business. The unit is intended to offer “content development and content optimization” services to help marketers produce custom content for vendor Web sites and social media networks.

“As IT vendors look to build community and engagement on their own branded platforms, IDG Enterprise’s deep market knowledge and expertise can help them in their efforts,” Michael Friedenberg, president-CEO of IDG Enterprise, said in a statement. “SCS is a natural expansion of our media portfolio that will enable us to partner closer with our customers and serve their evolving marketing needs.”
