IDG introduces new research service

Framingham, Mass.—IDG Communications announced a new research service called IDG Market Fusion, which is based on research into the information needs of corporate technology buyers.

The service features research by IDG’s IDC research division, customer intelligence tools that are used to measure content consumption on IDG Web sites and behavorial targeting that allows IDG to score the quality of a lead and pass it on to vendors.

It also includes a new Engagement Intensity Index, which is a customer algorithm to analyze prospect interactions with content type, length of time content was consumed and other online activity. —Kate Maddox
