Framingham, Mass.—IDG Enterprise, which publishes Computerworld, has rolled out Knowledge Vault, custom multimedia platforms created to help IT marketers reach executive audiences. A Knowledge Vault platform integrates short videos, research tools and links on a variety of information technology topics.
The tagline for the Knowledge Vault is “Executive top-line delivered in under 5 minutes.” Among the marketers using Knowledge Vault is Dell Inc., which is sponsoring a platform on security.
The platform is design to provide tracking and reporting on usage data such as downloads and session durations. “Executives are watching more videos than a year ago, according to a recent Forbes study, and 86% of executive respondents prefer watching videos that are five minutes or less,” said Charles Lee, VP-custom solutions group at IDG Enterprise, in a statement.
