IDG to start magazine for chief security officers

Boston--International Data Group announced Monday that it will launch in September a new publication for chief security officers and other executives involved in protecting a corporation’s tangible and intangible assets. The monthly publication, CSO, will have a companion Web site (www.csoonline.com) that is slated to launch at the end of April. The worldwide market for information technology security is expected to be $46 billion by 2005, according to IDG. CSO will have a controlled circulation of 25,000. The cost of a four-color, full-page ad will be $10,800.
