IDG TechNetwork to launch online ad exchange

New York—IDG TechNetwork, an online technology ad network, said it plans to soon introduce Tech Media Exchange, an ad exchange focused on the technology sector. The exchange is an automated buying platform designed to allow marketers to engage in real-time bidding for ads reaching the tech audience.

IDG said the ad exchange, which will start with more than 500 websites on its roster, will be launched in beta in February. The Tech Media Exchange will use AdMeld's private exchange technology.
