Chicago—IDG World Expo announced plans for Small eBusiness World, a conference designed to help small-business owners use online technologies to grow their operations.

Small eBusiness World will help business owners evaluate online business technologies from companies including eBay, Yahoo!, Overture, Amazon.com and Google.

The inaugural show will be held May 6-7 at the Donald E. Stephens conference center in Rosemont, Ill. It will feature workshops, seminars and an expo area.

Small eBusiness World will also feature eBay University, a two-day workshop hosted by eBay to help businesses learn how to use online auctions, and eCommerce Boot Camp, a two-day workshop hosted by small-business media company M Networks.

The Wall Street Journal Online is a media partner of the event.
