Images and links now displayed for Sender Score certified users

Denver—Return Path announced that Sender Score Certified, its e-mail white list, can now display images and links by default in Microsoft Corp.’s Windows Live Hotmail e-mail service.

Return Path said that distinction will increase delivery rates for e-mail. Images and links typically have defaulted to “off” in Hotmail in the past, the company said, but Microsoft is now enabling links for those on Return Path’s white list.

“When a sender complies with standards and builds the reputation with our users needed to earn certification with Sender Score Certified, we have greater confidence in that e-mail and can enable links, imagines and unsubscribe functionality,” said Craig Spiezle, director of online safety at Microsoft Corp.
