IMarket bolsters b-to-b database

Waltham, Mass.--IMarket Inc., a D&B company, this week announced it had strengthened its b-to-b database with the addition of several new data elements from D&B, including details on energy usage, credit worthiness and minority-ownership status. IMarket customers can access the data through the MarketPlace desktop suite as well as the company's Internet solution, zapdata.com, now enhanced with a save-and-restore feature that allows users to build targeted prospect lists and save the list criteria for future use. Additionally, the data are available through the company's new offering, the Private Data Portal, a lead-distribution system for organizations with large, distributed sales forces or reseller networks. IMarket's desktop tool sells for $850 to $7,900. The pricing for zapdata.com varies depending on the size of the list and the level of data licensed; specialty data can add anywhere from $.10 to $.75 per criteria/field for each record.
