Impiric, New York, formerly Wunderman Cato Johnson, announced Monday an alliance with Inc., an Internet direct marketing company with proprietary technology that allows companies--in business-to-business and consumer markets--to interact in real-time with their best customers. Vflash Messenger enables companies, such as ValueFlash client Atlantic Records, to communicate with its most loyal customers on their desktops. Atlantic, for example, allows fans to specify direct-to-the-desktop news, video clips and concert schedules for their favorite recording artists. Impiric, which is a wholly owned subsidiary of Young & Rubicam, is confident the technology will have many b-to-b uses.
