IMS unveils Web ad tracking product

Toronto—IMS has announced the launch of WebSpyder, a Web site ad-monitoring system. The tool, 13 months in development, enables clients to determine the individual sites that are to be monitored, as well as the frequency and the number of pages deep that each monitoring episode probes. The data from WebSpyder will be tied to magazine advertising, advertiser by advertiser, and reported on eBasket, the IMS information delivery system.
