Incisive Media to merge ‘National Law Journal,’ ‘Legal Times’

Published on .

New York—Incisive Media announced Monday that it plans to merge the National Law Journal and Legal Times.

The first issue of the combined magazine, which will be published under the National Law Journal brand, will be available in May. The National Law Journal Web site will be redesigned, with daily updates on legal news from across the nation, as well as special Washington, D.C., pages that will include the BLT Blog of Legal Times.

David Brown, editor and publisher of Legal Times, will serve as editor in chief of the new National Law Journal. Stephen Lincoln will continue in his current role as National Law Journal publisher.

"At this point, no decisions have been made on staffing for the combined pub," an Incisive spokesperson said.
