Individuals can now become DMA members

Published on .

The Direct Marketing Association will now let individuals join its ranks. This will make some 14 million direct marketing employees throughout the U.S. eligible for membership. Previously, only companies were granted membership. Employees of those companies are now eligible for individual membership. The DMA is trying to boost membership by admitting direct marketing employees whose companies do not necessarily consider direct marketing their core business, said Christina Duffney, DMA spokeswoman.
