Industry coalition marketplaces develop momentum, research shows

Los Angeles-Jupiter Research has unveiled research showing strong momentum in the development of giant, industry-led coalition e-marketplaces. Jupiter found 41% had already begun to conduct transactions, to be joined by another 33% by year's end. Jupiter identified a total of 64 industry marketplaces. "[Industry marketplaces] are becoming the vision leaders, a role traditionally played by nimble startups," according to Jupiter's Tim Clark, lead analyst on the report. The findings were unveiled at Jupiter's Net Market Makers' Ground Zero 4 conference.
