The 48-year-old, Pearl River, N.Y.-based list manager and brokerage will be combined with infoUSA's Walter Karl subsidiary. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Edith Roman's CEO, Steve Roberts, will remain with the company and will report directly to Walter Karl President Ed Mallin, who said Edith Roman will retain its brand and "will operate as a contained entity."
The acquisition includes Edith Roman Associates; E-Post Direct, its e-mail list division; and Database Direct, its database consulting arm.
"Edith Roman's strength in the b-to-b marketplace coupled with our expertise is going to be a powerful formula going forward," Mallin said.
