InfoUSA licenses business data to Microsoft

Omaha, Neb.—InfoUSA announced it has agreed to license its business database to Microsoft Corp.

Microsoft will use the company's directory assistance database of more than 13.5 million U.S. businesses to power MSN Local Search and Windows Live Local Search. Microsoft also partners with Amacai, which provides it with information on 13 million businesses. The infoUSA information will be combined with those data.

InfoUSA announced earlier this week that hit had agreed to acquire list company Mokrynskidirect.
