Omaha, Neb.—InfoUSA announced Friday it will no longer participate in list manager MeritDirect’s Meritbase business co-op database.

InfoUSA has its own cooperative database through its Edith Roman subsidiary called BRAD (Business Response Alliance Data) which contains 40 million names. Company Chairman-CEO Vin Gupta said it is no longer in the best interest of infoUSA shareholders to participate in MeritDirect’s co-op database.
