Greenwich, Conn.--The percentage of insurance companies offering electronic customer-feedback forms on their Web sites has jumped from 25 to 62 over the past six months, according to new findings by e-commerce software provider Insurance Value Added Network Services. The company polled 110 mostly business insurance providers. Additionally, survey findings indicated 55% of the insurers polled now respond to e-mail through their Web sites, vs. 29% half a year ago. Also, 10% of all insurers surveyed now offer online claims submissions, up from 6%. About 4% of the insurers now have transactional sites, up from 1% six months ago.
