Intel hires agencies for book marketing

Santa Clara, Calif.--Intel Corp. said Thursday it has hired Pearson Education/Addison-Wesley to produce a series of books outlining best practices in electronic business. John Davies, VP of Intel's Solutions Market Development Group, said "many books have been written about different aspects of e-business and the Internet; our goal is to bring together expert knowledge from throughout the industry to make it easier for businesses to take advantage of the Internet for sustainable competitive advantage." The first three titles are to be published later this month, with additional titles slated by July.
