Interbrand introduces retention program

New York--Advertising giant Interbrand said Wednesday that it has introduced a wide-reaching employee retention program, ranging from overseas travel to bonuses. Interbrand, New York, said it will launch an exchange program that allows people to transfer to any of its offices in 26 cities for one year, as well as awards for top work that give one week of paid time off, plus $3,000 cash. The move comes as ``necktie'' companies, those that rely on the intellectual input of their employees as opposed to manufactured goods, face increased pressure to attract and retain talented employees.
