The combining of the sites is slated to take place in the spring, according to an internal joint IHT and New York Times memo. “Come launch, will feature a dynamic new co-branded global edition home page that will feature stories selected for international users. Regular users will be able to opt-in to that new home page; the url will also redirect there,” IHT Publisher Stephen Dunbar-Johnson and Senior VP-General Manager Vivian Schiller stated in the memo.
