Internet Ad Bureau names Webster CEO

Published on .

New York--Robin Webster, a former trade show executive, has been named CEO of Internet Advertising Bureau. Previously, Webster was chief content officer at eMarketWorld.com Inc., which oversees the @d:tech trade show series. She joined eMarketWorld last year, after a six-year stint as exec VP of the Association of National Advertisers. The IAB has been a volunteer organization, but as Internet advertising has grown it has started to bring on paid executives. Webster will lead IAB efforts to create standard guidelines for Internet advertising, terms and conditions, and insertion orders.
