Internet Capital Group posts wider fourth-quarter loss

Wayne, Pa.--Internet Capital Group Inc. posted a fourth-quarter net loss of $200 million, compared with a net loss of $30 million in the fourth quarter of 1999. Revenue for the fourth quarter 2000 totaled $21.3 million, up from $1.8 million a year earlier. ICG's shares are trading in the low single digits, down from a 52-week high of $156.06. The company invests in and incubates b-to-b exchanges and technology start-ups.
