Intertec Publishing's exhibitions head resigns

Overland Park, Kan.--Primedia's Intertec Publishing announced Tuesday that Joel Davis, president of the company's exhibitions division, has resigned. Mr. Davis will be president-CEO of a trade show and conference company focused in the Internet arena. The name of the company Mr. Davis will be joining was not disclosed. He joined Intertec in March 1998 and became the head of the exhibitions division three months later. The division has 30 conferences and trade shows, a figure that Cameron Bishop, Intertec president-CEO, said he expects to double in ``the short term.''
