InterWorld to bundle analysis software with Internet server

New York--InterWorld Corp. said Monday that it plans to offer Informatica Corp., Palo Alto, Calif., software for comparing Web site data against what's held in the corporate financial applications. The move, which joins Informatica's PowerCenter.e with InterWorld's enterprise commerce server, will allow marketers to view sales to customers across stores, catalogs, call centers and Web sites. InterWorld, New York, said the ability to look at data across all points of sale at a company has been demanded by those who are responsible for maintaining brand loyalty. Profiling of customers is also available with the servers, through data networking services.
