InXpo integrates Twitter into virtual events service

Chicago—InXpo Inc., a provider of privately branded virtual events, is now offering an integration with the micro-blogging site Twitter, allowing users to send status updates directly from within a virtual-event environment.

The Twitter integration into InXpo Virtual Event Platform 7.6 features Twitter Updates, which enables attendees to tweet from the virtual event environment; Event Promotion, which inserts into each tweet the show’s “hashtag,” a Twitter convention that allows followers to group and track tweets by topic; and Word-of-Mouth Tracking
