IPG Mediabrands unveils Media Lab

New York—IPG Mediabrands announced the opening of IPG Media Lab in New York, an experiential center that showcases new technologies and marketing applications for clients and media companies. The 5,000-square-foot lab will feature six permanent installations on mobile, entertainment, retail, social media, audience measurement and accountability, as well as rotating exhibits from more than 500 companies. Some of the current exhibits include he CMO Desk of the Future, an interactive desk that lets C-level executives manage and interact with large amounts of data, and Audience Measurement using Facial Recognition, which features technologies to measure emotional responses to marketing via facial recognition technology.
